Agency-certified translation

Agency-certified translation

An agency-certified translation can be suitable when the institution where the document will be submitted accepts an agency-certified translation and does not require notarial certification.

If the receiving authority has specified that a notarised translation is required, an agency-certified translation will not be sufficient. If the client has received these instructions, they can be sent to us together with the document.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does agency-certified translation replace a notarised translation?

No, not always. It depends on the requirements of the institution where the document will be submitted.

How do you know which certification is needed?

Send us the requirement text or the document, and we will help determine an appropriate format.

When is an agency-certified translation enough?

If the receiving authority does not require a notarised translation, an agency-certified translation may be suitable.

Can an agency-certified translation later be notarised?

This depends on the document and the receiving authority's requirements. If the client has certification instructions, they should be taken into account before translation.

When is a notarised translation needed?

A notarised translation is needed when the institution requires an officially certified translation rather than a simple text translation. We check the required certification before processing the order.
